Paige Ray M.S., CCC-SLP TSSLD-BE is a nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist who is dually licensed in New York and Connecticut. Paige maintains a Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Paige received her Master’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a Bilingual Extension in Italian from Columbia University Teachers College. She holds additional certifications in Teaching Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD), and Speech Systems Intelligibility Treatment (SSIT). She additionally is trained in Dynamic Tactile Temporal Cueing (DTTC), Rapid Syllable Transition Training (ReST) and PROMPT trained. Additionally, she has completed trainings related to Gestalt Language Processors and Play development.

​As a speech and language pathologist, Paige is passionate about celebrating and encouraging linguistic diversity. She believes strongly in an individualized person-centered and evidence-based approach. As an individual and a practice, she strives to embody the true meaning behind neurodiverse-affirming care! Paige feels motivated about working with preschool and school-aged students to help them reach their full potential socially and in the classroom! Working with families, caregivers, teachers, and allied health professionals is of the utmost importance to Paige as she understands the value of a whole-person multi-disciplinary approach to development and rehabilitation. She has worked in private practices and private schools across the greater New York City area.

Paige has extensive clinical experience with a variety of speech and language disorders. Her experience with children includes in-person and virtual assessment and treatment of monolingual and bilingual children with a wide variety of speech, language, play, pragmatic, and fluency disorders as a result of developmental delays and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Angelique is our Early Literacy Specialist at Conversations Together. Angelique has a bachelor's in psychology from the University of North Carolina and her Masters in teaching from PACE University. She worked as a NYCDOE teacher in the Upper West Side for 8 years, where she spent her time learning the ins and outs of teaching both general and special education K-2 students. Angelique has an extensive range of knowledge in curricula across the academic subjects (reading, writing, math, social-emotional) but spent the last 3 years devoting her time to early reading acquisition. Angelique adores teaching students how to read--there is nothing like witnessing the moment it all clicks! She has completed a 60h Orton Gillingham for the classroom training, Fundations, and Hochman’s The Writing Revolution methods, and more!
Angelique spends time creating student-led, hands-on, and engaging lessons for both academic services and executive function coaching. Her one goal is to find the love of learning in each student!

Caroline Adrien

Caroline is a Speech Language Pathologist at Conversations Together. She received her Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology at Molloy College and holds an additional certification in Teaching Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). Her passion for speech pathology began with her younger sister who struggled both academically and socially due to speech and language deficits. After seeing the momentous progress her sister achieved with the help of a speech language pathologist, Caroline knew this was the career she wanted to pursue. She has extensive experience in assessment and treatment of adults with cognitive-linguistic deficits, as well as dysphagia. Caroline has also worked closely with children with speech, language, and communication disorders both in-person and virtually. She is passionate about serving and empowering others, and finds her career as a speech-language pathologist extremely rewarding.
Lauren Tong, MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a California- and New York–licensed speech-language pathologist passionate about helping children communicate with confidence. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a certification in Teaching Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).
Lauren earned her BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and her MS from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her experience includes working in special education schools, preschools, skilled nursing facilities, and private practices in NYC, as well as primarily in the private practice setting in California.
With experience treating a wide range of speech and language disorders, Lauren specializes in treating articulation, early intervention, apraxia, expressive/receptive language, fluency, and social communication. She takes a person-centered approach, creating individualized treatment plans and collaborating closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure skills carry over beyond the therapy room.

Emily Alberts is an Executive Functioning Coach at Conversations Together. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Fairfield University and her Masters degree in School Counseling from Hunter College. She has extensive experience working in various educational settings but has dedicated the past two years to supporting students in their executive functioning skills, delighting in the opportunity to work closely with students and their families in personalized, one-on-one settings, fostering confidence and independence for lifelong learning. With her background in school counseling and academic coaching, Emily brings with her a strong understanding of working collaboratively to support student goals, through her considerable partnership with parents, caregivers, treating providers, and educators. Emily approaches her work with students from an individualized and strength-based perspective, by focusing on and attending to each students’ individual needs, learning styles, and interests. She is passionate about using academic, and socio-emotional interventions to assist students in overcoming executive functioning challenges and reaching their truest potential!

Mia is an Early Literacy Specialist at Conversations Together. She earned her undergraduate degree in developmental psychology and art history, and her Masters in early childhood and elementary education from the Art of Teaching program at Sarah Lawrence. She holds a New York State professional teaching license (Birth-Grade 2) and continues her professional development through courses at Teachers College and workshops around the city. Mia has extensive experience as a classroom teacher as well as a literacy tutor in one-on-one settings. As a passionate early childhood educator, her teaching practice is rooted in building strong relationships, getting to know each student well, incorporating arts and movement, and working closely with families to support each students’ growth. She believes every child is capable and works hard to help her students build their confidence. Mia is fascinated with the process of early literacy development and loves helping young students express their ideas through writing and access the joy of reading.
